mont mars

Mont Mars is the highest peak of the Biellese Alps and reaches 2600 meters above sea level.

Its slopes fall partly in the Biella area and partly in the Aosta Valley, where the Mont Mars Natural Reserve was established since 1993.

You can find everything that high mountain nature can offer: forests, impressive peaks, alpine meadows and crystal clear lakes, all in over 380 hectares of land.

We invite you to go nearby for a trip or a longer stay: admire the different views on the panorama, let yourself be enchanted by the Monte Rosa massif but, above all, don't forget to stop and look at the sky.

It is a unique sight from there.

And ask the locals to tell you some of the ancient legends dedicated to neighboring places.

About the planet

Mont Mars and its Reserve are the protagonists of a new plan for the future that foresees a push by communities towards ecotourism, increasing the quality of hospitality and services offered, respecting the territory and its resources.
