biella

Biella is known across Italy, and also beyond its borders, to be a premium textile pole. Favored by its position at the foot of the Alps, since ancient times its inhabitants specialized in spinning wool. Over the centuries this area has based its wealth on this precious knowledge.

But Biella is not only synonymous with excellent manufacturing. It is also a cultural place, visited every year by numerous people fascinated by its most famous attractions.

The Sanctuary of Oropa, destination of pilgrimages and stage of different naturalistic itineraries, the Zegna Oasis, the Natural Reserve created by the entrepreneur from the reserve takes its name, the Burcina Park, a protected natural park, the Ricetto di Candelo, one of the few medieval villages in the world entirely preserved, and many others.

Since 2019 Biella has been a UNESCO Creative City, a recognition strongly desired by the business community, by young people and by the Municipality to remind everyone of the value of this city and its province. With the #millefiliuntessuto campaign, a cohesive tale of all the excellences that qualify Biella as a Creative City was created.

Tradition and innovation, united for a better future.
